VerOLink Examples

These examples demonstrate how VerOLink can detect common errors, and provide an indication of properly linked images. 

VerOLink’s output is XML data.  It has been rendered as HTML for these examples from the XML and a customizable stylesheet.

Example 1	VerOLink identifying a correctly linked image, resulting in a PASS indication.
Example 2	VerOLink identifying duplicate function definitions (global and static functions with the same name), resulting in a PASS indication with a warning.
Example 3	VerOLink identifying an incorrectly linked function (linker failure), resulting in a FAILED indication.

Note:
The example results are based on a fully linked executable image containing the application, operating system, and board support software.  The example results for this demonstration have been modified by removing the references to the proprietary operating system and board support software.
